Since 1994, OCRA-DG has connected regulatory professionals through education, networking, and industry collaboration across Orange County and the West Coast.
Orange County Regulatory Affairs Discussion Group (OCRA-DG) is a non-profit volunteer organization composed of Regulatory Affairs professionals from the Southern California area who are interested in expanding their knowledge through educational programs and networking with one another. OCRA was formed in 1994 and quickly became one of the most vibrant and active non-for-profit volunteer-led organizations for regulatory affairs professionals in the United States. OCRA-DG has over 700 members representing over 250 medical device, pharmaceutical, biologic, and dietary supplement companies in Orange County and surrounding areas, employed by small-to-large-sized manufacturers.
OCRA-DG events & meetings provide an educational forum and a means for the regulatory community to network. Our focus is regulatory in nature; however, our programs have also provided timely information for individuals involved in Engineering (software validation and product development), Marketing (advertising and labeling), Quality (Quality System Regulation, etc.), and other related fields. Although we are based in Orange County, our meetings consistently draw participants from all over the West Coast region.
OCRA-DG’s mission is to provide high-quality educational programs and networking programs to regulatory, clinical and quality affairs professionals in the medical products industries and to offer a neutral forum for the exchange of information regarding issues and activities of interest to our members.
Our values are built on education, collaboration, excellence, community, innovation, and integrity, guiding regulatory professionals toward growth, connection, and lasting industry impact.
We provide continuous learning opportunities to help professionals stay current with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
We foster a collaborative environment where members can share knowledge, experiences, and solutions to common challenges.
We maintain the highest standards in all our programs, events, and member services to support professional growth.
We build strong connections among regulatory affairs professionals throughout Orange County and beyond.
We embrace new ideas and technologies that advance the field of regulatory affairs and quality assurance.
We operate with transparency, honesty, and ethical standards in all our organizational activities.
OCRA-DG has several special interest groups that focus on issues germane to regulatory affairs professionals. Take advantage of these SIGs that give you the chance to meet and discuss relevant topics with your peers. Meetings of these specialty groups are free or discounted to OCRA-DG members!
We are interested in co-promoting events and educational offerings with other non-profit organizations to help foster more awareness of OCRA-DG and to keep our Members informed of other important training and educational offerings.
